Leaders

Our leaders are volunteers who invest a lot of time and often money in order to sustain our church. They are chosen and dismissed by the congregation. Please treat them with the honor and respect they have earned.

Doctrine

We have no formal doctrinal statement other than asking attendees to be Jesus lovers.

Some sermons may present theloogy with which you profoundly disagree. Disagreement is welcome, disagreeability is not.

The only doctrinal point we're sure of is that God is right and we're not. When we get to heaven every single one of us will likely be surprised to learn His complete truth.

Details, starting with finances

Our financial situation is different from most any other church. With no paid staff or permanent location, we have minimal expenses. We encourage you to give, as giving is good for you. We use the money given to give offerings to the ministries whose material we use, to provide as needed for our community, and to offer assistance to those in need who we know and love. Our financial records are kept on line and are accessible to any person at any time, church affiliated or not. Click here to enter our accounting program.

Small Groups

Our weekly service is our small group. Feel free to start other small groups whenever and however you wish.

Start a Church

This is a church model and we believe all will benefit from those who are willing to start a church based on it.

Use as much or as little of the model as you care. We will offer as much asssistance as feasible at no cost and maybe ask for a few dollars or more if you need extensive help.

If you'd like to formally affiliate with us in order to provide tax deductible giving for your attendees, we will soon have a process for that in placje.

You will probably find that being formally affiiiated has immense benefit.

Name Tags

Since every service is effectively a small group meeting, we ask everyone to wear a name tag for every service. You can bring your own or simply go the sticky paper and marker route.

Visitors

We love visitors, especially those that have never been in a church or it's been a very long time.

If you find the material confusing, ask anyone for help. We have all manner of resources to help new believers, including helping you find the perfect place to become a follower of Jesus, even if than means another church.
